Topography of Memory is a one-week workshop focusing on Walking, Writing, and Drawing in the landscape of central Tuscany. In this workshop participants explore personal and cultural histories by navigating the possibilities of line. This will include moving pencil across a piece of paper, inscribing text in a notebook, and walking lines in the landscape. No extensive drawing or writing experience is necessary. This workshop is ideal for anyone who is interested in spending time on an Italian agricultural estate while participating in generative exercises designed to map stories, draw surroundings, and find the threads that connect past to present.
All you need to do is send an “Application” to the mailing address with a deposit of $300.
Please email us your physical address and we will send you an information packet. You always call us for further information about the workshop, Spannocchia, or this particular region of Italy.
